The name perhaps says it all. The “New Englander” is designed and built for the New England purist. Like the die-hards who will ride it, the ski has grit and a sense of adventure. Built on Parlor’s Cardinal 90 platform, the New Englander features traditional elements of ski design with modern flare. With traditional camber under foot and a 90mm waist, the New Englander excels on groomers and hard snow. The flare shines through with an early rise tip, making the New Englander versatile enough for bumps, trees, and that beautiful side-of-trail crud.

Like its construction, the New Englander’s graphic blends traditional New England landscape components of mountains and moose with modern bold colors. It is designed by Vermont native and shredder Caroline Kessler.

camber profile

Early Rise:

Featuring traditional camber underfoot and a slightly lifted early rise tip. This profile provides ease of initiation on both hard and mixed snow, rebound in the middle and exit of the turn, without sacrificing edge hold.

flex

The New Englander is build with our medium flex pattern. It is the perfect balance of great drive out of the bottom of the turn, without making the turn initiation too difficult.

lay-up options

The laminates are the main structural component of our skis. All of our custom graphic skis come with the option of a frontside or backcountry lay up.

Frontside:

Built with three layers of Vectorply triaxial fiberglass, this lay up prioritizes dampness and stability while still maintaining a low swing weight.

Backcountry:

Built with two layers of Vectorply triaxial fiberglass and two layers of carbon fiber skrim, this lay up is lighter in weight for those who like to spend some time going up hill. The carbon also gives the ski a bit of added pop.
