I HAVE SKIED AT MAD RIVER GLEN FOR OVER 45 YEARS AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT I HAVE NEVER TRIED A SKI THAT HANDLED EVERY BIT OF WHAT MAD RIVER HAS TO DISH OUT LIKE THE CARDINAL. FROM STEEP NARROW TO MOGULS AND THE FEW GS TURNS IN BETWEEN THEM.

THREE GUYS OUT OF CAMBRIDGE ARE MAKING THESE SKIS OUT OF THE PARLOR OF AN OLD FUNERAL HOME AND THEY ARE FANTASTIC! AS AN EX-RACER THEIR CARDINAL SKI DID EVERYTHING I WANTED THEM TO WHEN I PUSHED THEM TO THE EDGE. THEY DID SLALOM TURNS, CUT RIGHT INTO THICK ICE, AND PLAYED IN THE EDGES OF THE TRAIL.

WE HAVE BEEN FORTUNATE TO TAKE THE FULL PARLOR LINE OUT ON THE WIDEST RANGING TERRAIN, FROM THE HARD-PACKED OF NEW ENGLAND RESORTS, TO CHAMPAGNE POWDER OF THE ROCKIES AND MOST RECENTLY TO THE BIG MOUNTAIN LINES OF THE EUROPEAN ALPS. THEY ARE INCREDIBLY STABLE, AGILE AND DYNAMIC, WHILE ALSO CARRYING AN ELEMENT OF FUN AND PLAYFULNESS - ALL OF WHICH IS A NOD TO MASTERFUL CONSTRUCTION. AT THIS STAGE, WE WOULDN’T WANT ANYTHING ELSE ON OUR FEET.
