"The Gallatin"

$1,075

From the Skier:

The full rocker profile allows for a loose and playful feel and is balanced out with a solid camber midsection to dig into those groomers and get on edge at high speeds. Built with the insanely diverse terrain at Big Sky Resort in mind, this ski can truly be a West to East coast quiver killer. The 100mm underfoot and generously tapered tip and tail width means it handles with ease in fresh snow but also allows for seamless transitions edge to edge when carving.

With help from local photographer Kevin Chartier on the top sheet design, we created an especially unique product. During spring run-off, the snow from our mountain is what feeds the world-famous Gallatin River. It was a no-brainer to pay homage to that ecosystem and bring everything together in this ski, The Gallatin.

- “From the very first run, I knew I found my every day, any conditions, ski.”

-Andrew Belli

From the Artist:

‘With a passion for skiing that has taken me to so many beautiful mountain ranges and countries, including the Alps, Andes, Himalaya, Japan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, etc., I eventually became inspired to document these great adventures and also to create art from the natural world. The photograph that inspired this ski was shot on a -20f winter morning over one of the many world-class rivers that split the high ranges of Western Montana.  The night before had brought a perfect right-side-up storm that laid a blanket over the mountains, allowing for us to have one of those perfect moments in the hills, with beautiful light, good friends, and a solid pair of skis underfoot.

On our semi custom skis we use a standard flex pattern, which is appropriate for most skiers. The flex pattern for this ski has been designed to match the overall design of this ski and to provide a smooth and responsive feel for the ski

The laminates are the main structural component of our skis. All of our semi custom skis come with our frontside lay up. Built with three layers of Vectorply triaxial fiberglass, this lay up prioritizes dampness and stability while still maintaining a low swing weight.
