FREERIDE

If you have a free and expressive style on the mountain, like to spend some time going backwards, and are always looking for cliffs , jumps or knolls to fly off, this category is for you. Freeride skis also perform extremely well for skiers that have a more centered stance and like to pivot to control their speed in steeper terrain. They are available with a higher tail and tend to have a more centered sidecut and flex pattern which makes them looser and significantly more playful.

Every ski we build is designed for the client. During the fitting we will help you decide which style of ski is correct for you, and then build your specs based on a conversation about your skiing style, physique, and terrain choice.
Here is a description of the specification range for freeride skis:

These skis are designed to be balanced for each skier and allow for the most creative approach to the terrain possible. Whether you are in the woods, the high alpine, resort or park, these skis will let you do it your way!

IDEAL CONDITIONS

COMPARISON

Freeride vs. Powder: For many skiers a wider platform freeride ski will also serve well as a powder ski. The skis that sit in our powder category tend to be very wide, and have a lot of rocker to them. This gives them great floatation and make them easy to turn in softer snow, however, they can be harder to manage on the hardpack because of this. The freeride skis tend to be a bit narrower and with their raised tails and more centered stance are more user friendly in mixed conditions.
