Every ski we build is designed for the client. During the fitting we will help you decide which style of ski is correct for you, and then build your specs based on a conversation about your skiing style, physique, and terrain choice.
Here is a description of the specification range for all mountain skis:

These skis are designed with versatility in mind, but we optimize them based on a preference for more stability on ice or better performance in softer snow, shorter verses longer turn shape, and quickness verses control at higher speeds. Armed with a ski that is built for your specific style will allow you to take on anything the mountain hands you.

CONSTRUCTION

Laminates: Tri-axle fiberglass, Titanal, Carbon fiber

CAMBER PROFILE

The majority of these skis are built with a combination of early rise tip, traditional camber underfoot and a tail splay. Given the breadth of this category, we see all of our camber profiles represented in the all-mountain custom builds.

FLEX

The flex pattern of these skis tends to be in the mid flex range because when you are creating a ski for all conditions that tends to work best. However, the flex varies on height and weight, ability, and preference so we see a range from very soft to very stiff in these builds.

SKIER TYPES

The full range of skier types are represented in this category, but by far the most popular are intermediate to advanced skiers. Having a custom ski that is balanced for your skiing style will make the entire mountian feel more accessible.

IDEAL CONDITIONS

These skis tend to favor groomed trails in any condition, and off piste and ungroomed areas with the exception of very deep powder.

COMPARISON

All Mountain vs. Off Piste: An all mountain ski will go all over the mountain but tends to have a slight shade towards carving and stability at speed on smoother terrain. An off piste ski tends to favor a quicker turn shape, is more maneuverable and will deal with softer or mixed snow conditions better. Often this decision comes down to where you like to spend more time, or the conditions in which you want the ski to perform better for you.
