TOURING
These skis thread the needle between being light enough to ascend well and still provide great performance on the way down. We have a variety of construction options in this category that allow us to make skis from the super light, 1250g per ski for a 178, up to about 2,000g per ski in the same length. We build skis that are designed for uphill use only, as well as those that will also be used to skin up and still make laps at the resort.
Every ski we build is designed for the client. During the fitting we will help you decide which style of ski is correct for you, and then build your specs based on a conversation about your skiing style, physique, and terrain choice.
Here is a description of the specification range for touring skis:
These skis run the gambit of waist width, flex, and construction because people enjoy touring in very different terrain—from untracked powder to groomed trails. Despite the range of needs for these skis, they all favor a lighter weight construction to make the uphill easier to get you more laps.

COMPARISON
Touring Vs. Non Touring: While some of the skis in this category are very specific, many are lighter weight versions of other custom skis that we make. To make a touring specific ski we are prioritizing not only the terrain and style of the skier but also balancing how light the ski is for uphill performance with the skiers desire for stability and performance on the way down.
