The "McFellon" is a brainchild of our engineering team and Mad River Glen legend  and Tim McClellan. When Tim came on board we all agreed that we needed to develop a ski perfectly tailored for Tim's hard-charging, cliff dropping, yet creative & flowy style.

Built with a robust sandwich construction, fully reverse camber and a centered sidecut radius this ski is loose and maneuverable in the trees, crud and powder, but bring it out onto a groomer and it will lay big mid to long radius turns like a carving ski. At 112 underfoot this is often a dedicated powder or softer snow ski for New England but serves as a great daily driver for many of our west coast clients.

This is a favorite with many of our pro team athletes as its more centered stance lends itself to steeps, spins and drops. But the mixture of easy turning and being able to power an arc make this a favorite for many of our ex racers as well.

On our semi custom skis we use a standard flex pattern, which is appropriate for most skiers. The flex pattern for this ski has been designed to match the overall design of this ski and to provide a smooth and responsive feel for the ski

The laminates are the main structural component of our skis. All of our semi custom skis come with our frontside lay up. Built with three layers of Vectorply triaxial fiberglass, this lay up prioritizes dampness and stability while still maintaining a low swing weight.
